it was her birthday and she wanted it.. lol.

I am a club photographer

Not that anyone really reads my shit, but I take pictures at a club on Saturdays. Of course, there is drinking involved; however, not for me. I do not drink, but the girls there drink, and then they want to take pictures with me. haha. So, here are some pictures of me on saturdays.

LOL. more to come.

I don’t know what I’m doing with my life

I don’t consider

you an artist if you claim you’re an artist.  You need to prove it.  Anyone can say they’re an artist, so I don’t believe it until I have some type of proof.  Just because you can paint some shit, or take a picture of something dumb, or write another stereotypical love song doesn’t mean you’re an artist.

Art is all about you.  ”You” meaning an individual.  An “individual” meaning someone that thinks for themselves.  ”Someone that thinks for themselves”  meaning someone that can think outside the box and create something totally unique.

I don’t consider myself an artist.  As it has been said before: art is a form of expression.  The closest thing I come to art is playing guitar.  I write songs—somewhat; however, I don’t feel as if they’re really mine.  They aren’t me.  These songs sounds fine, and have a catchy tune, but they aren’t me.  As a matter of fact, they aren’t me AT ALL.  I love these songs, and I’ve worked on them quite a bit, but I don’t feel a strong connection with them.  Most of these songs are written with my friend, Travis.  They pretty good to the average person; however, I’m a little more complex than the guy next door.

He thinks of these random songs in minutes, and I’m not really sure how to feel about that.  Is he that good? Or do these songs mean nothing because there is very little thought put into them?  I’m not sure.  But, all I really do is record them, and add instruments to them.  These songs have the same basic structure: 4 chords.  I don’t feel like 4 chords mean anything anymore.  My thoughts and I deserve a little more than the same fucking 4 chords.  Don’t even get me started on power-chords.
Anyways, why always 4 chords? Why does everyone stop there?  Sometimes, people get a little “fancy” and add 2 more for a “bridge” and boom—they’ve got a new song and everything thinks they’re great and artistic.  Please, do not praise these people.  They’ve done nothing but fuck everyone over.
But here is every song ever:
  1. Intro
  2. verse
  3. chorus
  4. verse
  5. chorus
  6. bridge
  7. solo
  8. chorus
  9. chorus
Is there a reason why we always stop there?  Let’s get a little original here, guys. Let’s think outside the box.  Let’s show that we have a little more brain power than following a worn-out song structure for years.
Anyways, it’s just gotten so bad.  I can literally predict songs and what happens next.  I sat at a wedding today and I basically guessed every little embellishment these songs had to offer.  It’s pretty sad when I can do that.  Let’s keep in mind that these were songs I have NEVER heard, and they were totally out of my genre taste.
whatever.
until the day comes when we have something good to listen to, I’ll be listening to the air blow through my window.  It’s much more enjoyable than the shit I always hear.
goodnight.
ps. stop using the word, “upon,” in lyrics.  No one ever says that shit.  Stop.  It’s only heard in songs.  It’s not creative.  Shut the fuck up and use a fucking thesaurus.

I have always been a loner and I really do not mind it. People aren’t all they are cracked up to be anyway. Is it sad that I’d much rather spend time with animals than people?Animals often have predictable behavior. If you come across a bear, chances are the bear would either kill you because he…
